After working with Ernst & Young and HSBC, she ventured into sustainable transportation solutions, co-founding eGen Electric Scooters. This experience laid the foundation for CityMaaS, where she addresses the challenges faced by individuals with limited mobility.


Under Rene's leadership, CityMaaS has developed platforms like the Mobility Map and Assist Me plugin, leveraging machine learning and data to enable independent living both offline and online. These innovations not only empower over a billion disabled individuals globally but also help businesses tap into a significant market by promoting inclusivity.


Rene's dedication has not gone unnoticed. She has been recognized among the top 50 BAME founders under 50 and has shared her insights at esteemed organizations, including Amazon and the Institute of Directors. Her commitment to using technology for societal and environmental good even earned her an invitation to No.10 Downing Street.


Beyond her professional endeavors, Rene is a mother of two young girls, balancing her personal and professional life with grace. Her story serves as an inspiration to women everywhere, exemplifying how passion, resilience, and innovation can lead to meaningful change.
